dc Redial IcondcRedial is a simple Android app that allows users to quickly and easily redial people.

Let me start by saying that I love my Motorola Droid, but when I got it, I didn't realize how much I would miss having a physical "talk" button. Basically, every phone I have ever used had a physical "talk" button, and if I wanted to call back the last person I spoke to, I could just press that button twice. The Droid doesn't have any such button, so the only way to call back the last person (that I could find) was to open the phone app, click the call log tab, select the last person, then choose to call them. So what was once a simple manner of two clicks (of the same button) now became a four-step process involving clicks all over the screen. I knew there had to be a better option, so I started out to create one.

dc Redial IconTo use the dcRedial Android app, all you need to do is click on the app icon to launch the redial app, then click on the number or contact you want to call back. The dcRedial Android app will automatically look in your contacts and display their name and number type (e.g. (M) for mobile, (W) for work, etc.). If dcRedial can't find a contact associated with a number, then it will just display the number.
